I then compared all of the different days and saw what was consistent through all of them and made a note of all the things I would have to consider and put into my own news paper to make it seem as real as possible. The following list will contain the different aspects I need to include in my own newspaper.
On the FRONTPAGE
Master Head - This is at the top of the paper and it never changes. It includes the name of the newspaper, the logo, date, website, tag line which in this case for The News 'Its all about you' and the price.
In my newspaper: I will include all these features but this means I have to create a logo and a tag line myself. I will soon shortly make a new post considering possible tag lines and logo ideas.
Also it is important to have the main part of the headline on the top fold.
Banner Adds - There is always banner adds at the bottom of the newspaper, this advert changes from day to day and just above this is a band of a puff.
PUFF - This is a enticer or a teaser for the contents of the newspaper.
In my newspaper: I will have to consider doing some fake or even real advertisement in my banner and come up with a small teaser for my contents.
Right Hand Column - Its always pretty, it sometimes has a very short beginning of a story carried on inside, and always has adds included in this.
In my newspaper: I will again have to come up with fake or real advertisements and maybe even short stories.
Front Cover Picture - This is most usually a front cover picture.
THE HEADING FONT IS ALWAYS IN BLACK OR WHITE WHICH EVER STANDS OUT MORE
The headline must fit around the picture, to achieve this I must manipulate the text.
There is always mini cut outs of people on the front page advertising upcoming contents.
On the INSIDE
There is a band at the top of page, saying 'inside'
The colour theme from the front page is continuing onto the inner pages.
There is either two or three stories on the inner page.
There is usually one main picture on this page and the top and a small mug shot at the start of the text of someone to do with the story.
There is a left column which contains weather news.

The News Media Pack
The News media pack gave me a lot of information on how there newspaper is put together, they distribute to all over Hampshire.
Three editions are printed, one for just Portsmouth, another for Gosport & Fareham and the last for Waterlooville & Havant. Its ABC was January to June 2009.

The News Circulation Area
I have found this map of The News's Circulation Area in the Media Pack 2009 from The New's website. I believe this will come in useful as I now can physically see where my Newspaper is going to be distributed to even if only aimed for one of these localities such as Portsmouth.
Pre-Production
Newsworthiness - The quality of being sufficiently interesting to be reported in the news. An example of being newsworthy to a local newspaper such as The News for Portsmouth could possibly be Southseafest, a festival through the streets of Portsmouth. This kind of event would not gain any recognition from other newspaper which are not local like the BBC as it is not newsworthy to the area.
News Values - News values sometimes known as news criteria determine how much prominence a news story is given not only by a media outlet but also by the attention is receives from the audience. News value also determines where stories in a newspaper would come and how large the article, the more local the story the more of a larger article and closer to the front it would come.
Bias - The definition of the word bias is an unfair act led by prejudice beliefs or to influence favorably to an certain outcome over others. In the world of the media and newspaper related the definition of bias does mean the same, newspapers can be very biased to please audiences, investors, and advertisers. Some newspapers may choose not to right stories to please there readers as they are worried it will offend there audience, for example a local Portsmouth newspaper could choose not to write about Southampton football team doing well as they know this would upset Portsmouth fans from the area, instead they will twist the story to explain how upsetting it was Portsmouth Football Club lost.
A Local Newspaper - A local newspaper is a newspaper just dedicated to news coverage of events in a local context, this type of newspaper is not aimed at audiences of other localities or nationalities. Stories written in the Petersfield Post newspaper would not be suited for inhabitants of Waterlooville's as although it is close its target audience is just for the locals of Petersfield.
Human Interest - Human interest is used to lure people in to the media as the writers present people and their problems, concerns or achievements in a way that arouses interest of sympathy to readers.
Etho's - This is a Greek word which means the beliefs or ideals that a community believe in, this is much like Ideology. For example The News would write about The Navy as this is what the newspaper believes in, where as this kind of story would not be found in Plymouth.
The 'Inverted Triangle' - The 'Inverted Triangle' is the structure or model commonly used in articles. It means the most important information from the story will be located at the top of the article and the least heaviest or least important at the bottom. This is done for a few different reasons one mainly being because the first few paragraphs are used to hook the reader.
